Just like that another month has passed. Unfortunately it was another month of colds for all of us, another ear infection for Jonah, and walking pneumonia for Avery. We are SO over being sick!! I hope this is the end of it for awhile!!

This month Jonah's milestones are basically the same. Still army crawling, waving, clapping etc, except he's just a little better at all of it. He's on his hands and knees rocking back and forth ALL the time, even in his sleep, but hasn't gotten the whole crawling on his hands and knees thing yet.
He is eating more and more finger foods, working on his pincer grasp, and signing for "more". He is loving trying new things, and like every baby, is addicted to puffs!

He's starting to be really interested in standing up, and wants so badly to pull up on everything. He still needs some assistance but he's almost got it by himself a few times. Time to lower the crib mattress! I predict he'll be doing a regular crawl, along with some cruising by my next update! We
shall see.

He doesn't have his well baby visit until next week, but when he went in for an ear infection a couple of weeks ago he weighed 18lbs 3oz, so he's finally back up to his growth curve he was born at 28%. This was a celebration for us! Yes he's still tiny for a boy, but that's what Avery weighed at her first birthday! I suspect with how active he is, he hasn't gained anything since then, but we'll find out, along with his height, at his check up.

Some other things going on this month-we finally finished our Christmas with my side of the family, and we celebrated Jon's last 20 something birthday! I took him on a dinner date then surprised him with go kart racing with some friends. We had a blast--although I realize I'm really not cut out for for racing after becoming the laughing stock of the whole place for my careful and slow driving! Haha

We are loving this warm, beautiful weather which
has me day dreaming about spring. Lots of fun stuff coming up, and a very special first birthday will be here before we know it!
